The battery was perfectly charged, after inserting it into the UPS I inadvertently blew the mains breaker, so the UPS ran for more than ten minutes from the battery at almost nominal power. I wouldn't have expected the condition of the flashlight from the warehouse.
The cables were awkwardly shaped, I had to straighten them to fit flat into the UPS. As this is the only possible use, they should have been better prepared.
