It works great, just a few hours after buying it helped me find my keys that I managed to lose in front of the house 😊 So I will definitely buy another one. I just read that after some time it starts beeping to be found and it can't be turned off, which I consider a mistake, I don't want to alert the thief that it's being watched, I want to find my thing, so I'm looking for how to turn the speaker off non-destructively if possible. It should be possible to determine which AirTag can make sounds and which cannot, because for example on the keys it is desirable, but in the car or in the photo bag it is not desirable.
It works
Long battery life
Cheap CR2032 battery
One is not enough.
Quickly scratches
Can't turn off the loudspeaker

Battery lasts 2 years
The world's largest location-based network. In cities, the location is updated after about 15 minutes.
Cannot alert you when an object has been moved. It is therefore almost useless as a bike/motorcycle/car alarm. You can only locate where the object is, or warn if it is forgotten when you leave.
Stupid update added random beeping when you're not near the tracker.
With the current software, it's almost useless. If you are hesitant to buy it, I don't recommend it.

with the new update came the "security" feature that the airtag starts making sounds if it is not near my iPhone (random time) - that is, if I have the airtag in my backpack or hidden in my bike, it will "smartly" alert the thief that it is there; apple explains that people have used the airtag to track their wives or co-workers by secretly placing the airtag in their car or bag.
