Given that this drive has 2x USB A power inputs, you don't have to worry about it not having enough power for burning discs.
Burns and reads without any problems.
The included software.
Compared to a 5.25 drive (a classic desktop PC drive), this is quiet, and even quieter when burning at 4x speed.
The white one is cheaper than the black one, same product but with a discount. I guess not many people buy the white one, but the price convinced me.
Works without any problems, plugged into the computer via an externally powered USB hub (plugged into the mains), so I have it about two metres from the computer on my desk and it only takes up one USB-A port.
Requires a special Y-splitter cable which will certainly be difficult to find when it breaks.
Mini USB, a very outdated connector. But when I consider that this drive has been in production since about 2012, it makes sense.
It does have rubber feet, but they're not great, it's better to stick some furniture pads on there instead. Then you won't get any vibrations spreading across the table.
