I spent a long time looking for high-quality gaming headphones for both listening to music and gaming. Audeze has solved both brilliantly and with top marks, creating an incredible pair of headphones with really large planar drivers that offer unbelievable sound reproduction and, on top of that, an incredibly long battery life. Headphones like Razer or SteelSeries, which I have also had the chance to try, can't compete with Audeze in terms of sound quality at all. On the downside, though, is the weight, as the Audeze feel heavy on your head, but the headband balances it out great and doesn't pinch. But you have to take this into account because planar drivers are generally heavier. When I first listened to music and played games, I thought to myself - this is unbelievable, this is the quality and detail I've been looking for, and it literally took my breath away. Although I bought an unboxed pair, which someone probably returned because they were too heavy for them, meaning I saved about £35, it was totally worth it and I don't regret the purchase. I highly recommend them, it's a real experience and I wear headphones more often now than listening through speakers. Another thing I like is that if the dongle is in the PC and the headphones are off, the sound plays through the speakers. But as soon as I turn the headphones on, the sound automatically reroutes to them via the dongle. That's a great little feature that makes using them even more of a joy.
Sound accuracy and detail
Incredible battery life
Very sturdy construction
Listening to music is absolute euphoria and you can hear every detail when gaming
I recommend keeping the Immersive EQ profile
They are heavy and you can tell, but I can forgive this because of the sound quality and battery life

I would say that they are relatively comfortable despite the weight and they fit well
Passive suppression is amazing. Better than ANC on some headphones
The sound quality is comparable to headphones with dynamic transducers which are many times more expensive. I have Dali headphones for 25k, one of the best with dynamic transducers and bluetooth, and these planar Audeze Maxwells are comparable in detail and better in terms of bass and sound space. Compared to other headphones in this price range like Airpods Max, Bose, Sony, etc. these are on a completely different level sonically.
USB dongle for 2.4Ghz. No cable required for best quality
They are heavier but it can be done. Nevertheless, it's noticeable
