The sound is quite different from the Pro EVO version. The EVO is much lighter and more dynamic. The heights are downplayed

Decent sound.
Stupid design, heats heavily, and all it needs are properly placed vents in for indoor/outdoor air circulation and possibly a fan with a thermocouple for forced circulation at high temperatures.
Mains switch hidden behind and "behind" the mains cord. For a class A amplifier that heats even when it is not playing, it is a punishment to turn this off.
The new generation Aune S17 Pro EVO is no better at this (heating, shutdown).
Not enough for the AKG K701.
