Affordable
Unobtrusive, the LED does not light up the whole room as it is with other similar devices.
Quiet operation.
It needs external power usb is only for data transfer.
It is not designed for nonstop operation, the drive gets quite hot, it has no fan. Using the on, save data, turn off style has worked well for me.
For some reason, it won't find my disks removed from the pc where the data is stored. It was only after formatting the hdd in this device that the disk started to work normally. I haven't found any info about the box saving data in its own format, but it refuses to load data from drives from other devices.
Therefore, I recommend anyone who buys this box to check compatibility before storing anything important on it to verify that in case the electronics fail, he will not get to the data even if the disk itself is fine.

Simple all-aluminum case, excellent disk cooling
USB 3.0 and SATA III combination for highest data transfer speed
Minimal number and brightness of the LEDs (only one bright blue LED on the edge of the reef).
Including assembly guide and spare screws.
It has no power management (the disk would fall asleep after 1 hour). It only has a power switch on the back. It's not a flaw, it's a feature; -).
