Good retro, the normal testers have either a couple of LEDs or a value, the green yellow and red field indication is fine and clear.
Careful, it's at 1.5V and 9V. The charging cells are only 1.2V, so it never shows fully charged. It doesn't change the function, just reckon with it. LOW is fine and REPLACE, depending on where the needle is. At the top OK, at the bottom quickly charge.
