If we take it in terms of function, it does what the thing is designed to do. It lights up nicely, you can change the intensity and colour of the light by touching the buttons, even the tilt of the bar. Seating on the monitor is stable. I'd like to mention a few things. According to the manual, it can be connected to a power supply with an output of 5V/1A or more. But for some reason it doesn't work with any charger I have, and apparently whoever doesn't have a usb on the monitor is probably getting cold feet. Next is control. What bothers me the most is the setup system. I would prefer plus/minus buttons instead of one button for a given function. If you want to reduce the brightness, you have to go to the maximum, lift your finger and bring it down again. This also applies to the shade. I haven't figured out any other way yet. The lamp also has a sensor for automatic dimming. The light is a bit too white for me, so I won't be using this feature. However, if you inadvertently activate it, it will cancel your preference. The advantage is that it remembers the on/off status and settings when disconnected from the power supply. The price seems higher to me. I think fifteen hundred would be ideal.

If I'd known, I would have gotten one a lot sooner. Very pleasant soft light, non-distracting and ideal for sitting in front of the workstation in the evening. It doesn't fit curved panels like the HP Z40C (you just have to pad it), but it fits the 34" BenQ perfectly.
