The collar is a fine solution for extra barking hafans of smaller stature, it is not extra heavy, even our 4 kg bitch did not mind when trying it, but unfortunately we had to return it because it has too long and thick fur (spike), through which the sensor for vibrating the vocal cords did not work, which then triggers the beep or vibration of the collar. The great thing is that it does not contain electrical discharges, but the correction is only by means of an audio signal or vibration / or a combination thereof. It works automatically, it only really kicks in when the barking is heard using the microphone + activating the vocal cord vibration sensor, but for this reason I would only choose it for short-haired dogs. Through the thick, long fur, the sensor has no chance to detect the vibrations, there is no contact with the skin => no correction will come. We got it on the advice of a friend who had a similar problem with a barking hafan and it works great for them, except their dog is short-haired.
