We live in an attic with a poorly insulated roof, where the temperature rises to over 28 degrees in summer. When our old fridge finally gave up the ghost after 18 years, we had to choose a new one in a hurry, and this one from Bosch turned out to be a brilliant choice. I was looking for something quiet, energy-efficient and, above all, bigger – that 70 cm width makes a huge difference compared to standard fridges. As it’s over two metres tall, there’s loads of space inside, and I think the layout of the shelves and drawers for fresh food is really well thought out.
What pleasantly surprised me straight away was the silence. The manufacturer states 29 dB; you really have to concentrate in the kitchen to even notice that the compressor is running. What’s more, it copes with our heatwaves with ease and keeps things nice and cool. It looks and feels high-quality; the materials seem sturdy.
Admittedly, the price was a little higher, but under our specific circumstances, I hope it will pay for itself in terms of fuel economy. I can definitely recommend it – if you’re looking for a cosy flat and want peace and quiet and plenty of space.

I was looking for the quietest fridge possible, as it's right next to my desk. Its quietness is really excellent. Sometimes you can hear the compressor kicking in, but even that is a soft hum. The design is very clean and nice. The interior space is absolutely amazing. The 10 cm extra width compared to the normal size is noticeable and the insulation is narrower = more space for food. 2 drawers are great too and one is XXL. In addition, the door does not need to be opened more than 90 degrees to open the drawers. The non-marring surface is also a bast. Classic freezer - 3 spacious drawers.
The only thing I found is that the temperature inside the fridge is 3 at the bottom and 5 at the top (tested repeatedly), but it's not a problem, I just expected it to be the same everywhere. Control couldn't be simpler. you simply select the temperature with one press on such a strip. It just has to be in the light, you can see the stripe, but not the numbers above it in the dark. I don't regret the price.
