I buy these treats for my corgi bitch almost every month and she absolutely adores them! :) They are among her absolute favourite rewards and work really well during training. I only have to pull out one treat and I immediately have her full attention.
It is true, though, that tastes vary. I have also met another dog who was nowhere near as thrilled by these treats. Fortunately, that is not the case with my girl :D
I appreciate the presence of animal ingredients, but personally I would welcome a recipe without added sugar syrup. I therefore view them primarily as a tasty reward rather than a particularly healthy dietary supplement.
Even so, I have been very happy with them in the long term. My dog loves them, they have proven themselves during training, and I have no reason to stop buying them. I just naturally count their caloric value towards her total daily intake.
Excellent palatability, ideal as training motivation, practical size and semi-moist consistency. They contain chicken, salmon oil and collagen.
The ingredients include glucose syrup, which I would prefer not to see in dog treats. You also need to watch the quantity due to the relatively high energy value.
