It takes time, but the result is great. We'll see how long it lasts. I set aside almost two hours for one light. At the same time, I used a larger wheel with a parkside wheel to grind coarser grits (400). The renovation kit then lasted without any problems and nothing broke.

A surprisingly effective set for a few crowns.
I had a light on my motorcycle after an accident. Deep indentations, all damaged and scratched. I removed the deep indentations with a coarser emery cloth and gradually increased the fineness according to the kit until wet sanding with 1200 - 3000, finally paste and the light looks like new.
Just take your time and trust that in the end it will become clear again: )
I have also used it to repair some opaque plastics and also excellent results. For the money, I highly and warmly recommend it.
