I bought one tape to try out. Since it worked well, I bought another one (and a wider one). I used it when painting to stick the masking plastic and it worked a treat. When removed, it peeled off the floor. I can't judge the stickiness when left for long periods of time.

Maybe for some, the tape is transparent and therefore the non-sticky part is harder to peel off during application. I used to have double sided tape in cream and it worked better than clear tape.
