ALZA realistically advises WRONG for all starter cables regarding wiring and even very dangerously. In the note on how to connect the cables, you state that the Negative cable should be connected to the negative terminal of the healthy battery and the negative terminal of the bad battery. IT'S ABSOLUTELY DANGEROUS, AND ALL THE MANUALS DISCOURAGE IT. The negative cable is put on the metal part of the car body in a dead car. It would be great to fix this before anyone acts on it.
