I've been using this toothpaste for several years now, and it's my go-to paste for daily dental care. I've had no reason to change it during all that time, and I'm really happy with it.
During my last dentist visit, my teeth were in very good condition. Only one tiny interdental cavity was found, and even then, only on the X-ray, as it wasn't visible during the routine examination. In every other respect, everything was fine. Of course, I know that dental health depends primarily on correct brushing technique, interdental hygiene, diet, and other factors, but given that I've been using this paste long-term, I consider my experience to be highly positive.
I was also interested in the ingredients, and I must say that the formulation seems really well done. It contains 1450ppm of fluoride, which is an effective concentration for daily cavity prevention. I also appreciate the absence of SLS, which can irritate the oral mucosa in some people, and the relatively gentle RDA 60 abrasiveness.
Interestingly, it features an enzymatic system designed to support the natural protective mechanisms of saliva. It's a nice bonus, though I consider fluoride to be the main proven benefit of the paste against decay.
In terms of ingredients and price, the product seems like a sensible buy. Of course, there are cheaper fluoride toothpastes that can provide comparable basic protection against cavities, so I wouldn't claim that Curaprox is irreplaceable. However, the combination of a gentle formulation, the enzymatic system, and my long-term positive experience is well worth the slight premium.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied. The paste suits me, I have a great long-term track record with it, and I'll definitely keep buying it.
