If you have a Garmin watch, all you need is a USB C cable and this adapter. No need to carry two cables. The reducer consists of a metal housing and a plastic interior. The very first time I tried to connect it, the inside slipped out of the case because it was not glued enough. I didn't advertise it, just drip the glue and slide it back in. Now it's flawless, so I didn't take off a star. I have had the same thing happen with a USB stick and a little glue was all it took. If this happens to you, make sure that the glue is only on the side and does not get into the connector from the front.
