To be honest, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if this coffee simply didn't suit me at all, but it was a massive disappointment for me.
When I first opened the pack, I was thrilled. The beans smelled wonderful, with a lovely sweet, almost caramel-like aroma. It made me all the more excited to brew my first cup.
However, after grinding them and brewing them in a filter coffee machine, I got a literal shock. The resulting taste was so unpleasant that neither milk nor sugar could save it. And that's saying something, as I'm really not someone who is extremely picky about coffee.
I've been drinking filter coffee regularly for a long time, but this was the first time I bought beans specifically labelled for filter use. So, I expected the result to be at least as good as the coffees I've used before. Unfortunately, the exact opposite was true.
Of course, I can't rule out that with a different grind setting, coffee-to-water ratio, or another brewing method, the result might be better. But I'm reviewing my own experience using a standard drip filter coffee machine, where I didn't enjoy this coffee at all.
Without exaggeration, I'd rank it among the worst coffees I've ever had, which really is a shame given its lovely aroma. Maybe it just has a flavour profile that absolutely doesn't suit me, but I certainly won't be buying another bag.

After grinding and brewing, the taste is completely unacceptable. Even adding milk or sugar doesn't help. For me, one of the worst coffee surprises.

So far, I haven't come across a better value for money for filter coffee. Yes, there are definitely tastier ones out there, but they're also about 150 Kč more expensive. A great choice for long-term daily drinking. I often think that the resulting filter coffee from my V60 tastes like what you get in many cafés. So I'm actually saving money :-)

Super choice for morning coffee in the aeropress. We don't necessarily need a selection for breakfast, but most of the cheaper coffees are coal roasted and once you get spoiled, it's hard to settle for supermarket coffee. This totally lived up to expectations and at a fine price.
