We bought 'Franta' here as a replacement for our old Tineco, which finally gave up the ghost. Even with the Tineco, we felt it didn't work very well on dried-on stains. But Franta passed the test with flying colours. The floor behind the sofa, where all sorts of things fall and spill. Dried, sticky Kofola and other stains, Franta cleaned them up after a little effort. Sure, it took some work and wasn't done in a single pass, but the hot water it mops with helped a lot and was one of the reasons we chose Franta. On those stains, our Franta even told us that the roller was dirty and needed cleaning. I guess even he didn't expect someone could have such a dirty floor at home. After our first floor wash, we were wondering how we ever lived without it, and with Franta, life is that little bit easier again. To not just praise it, it did leave about a half-centimetre gap from the skirting board that it didn't clean. Luckily, my wife is here with a wet wipe.
