I bought it for projection TV and as a replacement for the old 5.1 for PC and for me it is good. Connectable via long fiber optics or wireless and can be placed under a screen in the garden when the kids have a summer cinema. Otherwise at home when connected via HDMI = you will hear Dolby audio and atmos and everything else, but outdoors and in the garden via optical or wireless = you will hear only everything else (PCM) but still good.
when the film is in Dolby audio or atmos, it sounds really good. The sound isn't like the big boxes in my home theater, but it's compact to carry and that was the point. once at the PC (for games), once under the screen. bass player anywhere
