I was originally looking for speakers for a smaller room for my PC and was a bit sceptical about these, but they were a pleasant surprise. I bought them on sale for 2,000 and for that price, they play really well. Even though they're a standard PC size, in terms of quality, they're in a different league compared to cheaper options.

I was looking for small 2.0 speakers for my PC because I need to save space on my desk.
I tried the Edifier G2000, but I wasn't satisfied - the sound seemed flat, thin and disembodied. Then I got the Edifier QR30 and the difference is huge. The QR30 are small speakers ideal for a monitor, but they sound surprisingly grown-up.
The sound is fuller, the bass tighter, the mids cleaner and the overall sound much more balanced than the G2000.
For how compact they are, they have unexpectedly wide stereo and solid dynamics.
