The buttons are hard to see and look like touch buttons but they are not. You have to press the buttons hard on a hard surface, and the instructions don't mention that.
Totally fraudulent product, avoid the arc! All the presentation materials (from the photo here on Alza to the printed manual) advertise an accuracy of 0.01g, but when you turn the scale on, it only shows you one decimal place for grams. Switching to ounces (oz) displays more decimal places, but the scale is still incredibly inaccurate - ounces are accurate to +/-0.005 oz (the third decimal place is always either 0 or 5 on the display), which in grams is accurate to +/-0.14g. Waste!
