We’ve only had one problem with our new dishwasher at home, and that’s that our daughter won’t let us use it: ) He always wants to be there whilst the dishwasher is being loaded, especially when the cutlery is being sorted into its own drawer, which frees up more space in the lower section. The ergonomics of all the drawers are absolutely brilliant, including the option to stack individual units and divide them into smaller and larger (deep) plates. Even without the rubberised parts – which would have fallen apart over time anyway – the glasses and mugs stay in place and don’t fall over. The display showing the remaining time on the floor is great, but actually a bit unnecessary, as the dishwasher opens automatically once the cycle is complete and starts the drying process. This is quite necessary with this model, as, in our opinion, the crockery comes out wetter than before. However, we don’t take it out whilst it’s still warm anyway, and it dries off completely after a while. Paradoxically, the only thing we probably won’t use is the Wi-Fi function. I did try the app, but apart from advice and information about the current and completed programme, it’s not much use for anything else.

The Electrolux 800 built-in dishwasher is a superb appliance that catches the eye at first glance with its spray arm. It has low water consumption and, for example, its automatic programme automatically adjusts the wash time according to how dirty the crockery is. Another way to start the programme is the QuickSelect function, which is very intuitive – simply slide your finger along the control bar and select the dishwashing time
After using this dishwasher for a few days, I’m extremely pleased with it. It offers an excellent balance between top-class performance, quiet operation and exceptional energy efficiency. The inner baskets are brilliantly designed and spacious. I really appreciate the interior lighting, which makes it easy to see inside the dishwasher even in the evening. The top basket has soft rubber tips and special holders for wine glasses, so I don’t have to worry about the delicate glassware. The lower basket is versatile thanks to its folding prongs, so I can easily fit even large pots in there. The deep, contoured cutlery drawer is also brilliant – the cutlery doesn’t rattle about in it during the wash, it gets cleaned perfectly and dries thoroughly afterwards. The dishwasher copes very well even with dried-on dirt. A choice of 8 programmes is more than enough. The dishwasher runs extremely quietly, so we don’t even notice it’s on in our open-plan living room and kitchen. As the dishwasher has a concealed control panel, the TimeOnFloor feature is absolutely brilliant – the dishwasher projects the remaining programme time directly onto the floor, so I know exactly when the cycle will end. The delayed start function is just a nice bonus. The automatic door-opening system at the end of the cycle works brilliantly and is a very useful feature – thanks to the natural flow of air, the crockery comes out perfectly dry and drip-free. As far as energy consumption is concerned, the dishwasher falls into the top energy efficiency class, A, which is incredibly economical and easy on the wallet.
I’ve only been using the dishwasher for a few days so far, but the difference compared to my previous ones is noticeable. I would like to inform you that we do not yet have a fully integrated dishwasher; we are currently dealing with a number of issues in the new build, and we will only arrange for the dishwasher to be fitted once the kitchen has been installed. I really appreciate the quick/eco programmes and others, which are ideal if you’re looking for a quick or energy-efficient wash. I would go so far as to say that its cleaning performance is unrivalled. I very much hope that the dishwasher will continue to work for many more years to come with the same efficiency. I appreciate the drying function and the fact that the door opens automatically once the programme has finished. As far as I’m concerned, it’s a more than satisfactory dishwasher with suitable programmes and modern features. It’s easy to use; you’ll find all the information you need in the manual, which you should read through beforehand. The only downside is that the doors are very difficult to open manually, but hopefully that will ‘sort itself out’ over time. I recommend the product.
