Poorly designed. Škoda. There’s loads of water left in the lid. Even if you leave it to stand for 10 minutes. If you go over to it and open the lid to check how much water is in there, you’ll end up with loads of water spilling onto the handle and your hand. The lid isn’t watertight; when pouring water more vigorously, it overflows over the lid. I'll be back.

The main problem is the absence of a seal in the top lid. If you pour the hot water a bit more vigorously, it goes through the spout and even over the top lid.
I filled the kettle with water – 1.7 litres to be precise – so that I could boil it off before use, and when I was pouring the water down the sink, not only did the water spill over the top lid, but also, when I then opened the lid to see why it was leaking, I scalded myself on the remaining water that had pooled around the lid and, upon opening it, all ran down towards the handle 🤷
With our Tefal, where the switch finally gave out after many years, nothing of the sort happened, because the lid was sealed with silicone and the rim was designed in a more sophisticated way.
