Everything is working as expected. I could compare with my other photo printer which has 6 colors. The slight red tilt in the skin tones can be adjusted in the Epson software. My advice is to install the original software and not rely on the win menu.

I was lured in by the good price and the free 5-year warranty. The printer itself should cost at least 1,500 CZK less. Every time I pull out the paper tray before printing, I'm scared it's going to stay in my hand; it's all made of such thin plastic it might as well be made of stiff paper. Black and white printing is good, but there's no point in printing colour pictures because what comes out of the printer after such a long printing time is horrendous. On top of that, the printing is very noisy, even in black and white. Setting up the printer via the mobile app is absolutely perfect; anyone can do it, it's explained in detail with pictures.
A big minus is that it doesn't have a computer application – well, it does, but it's shared with 3 other printer brands, so only printing works, but you can't scan because the scanner isn't found. It only supports standalone scanners; it can't find multifunction devices. Plus, it constantly wants you to start paying a subscription to use the app to its full potential for outrageous prices – that should be free!
The mobile app works very well, so scanning is only via mobile, and copying is done on the printer itself.
Registering for the 5-year warranty was an interesting experience. It didn't work for several days, and when it finally did, I found out I was actually just submitting a request that would be processed in 31 days, and only then would I find out if I get it. So, a nice dirty trick – register within 30 days of purchase, and only on the 31st day do you find out if you'll get it at all. I still have to wait another 14 days to see if they've approved it for me.
If I didn't need the printer, it would have been returned to Alza long ago.
