On delivery I boiled it 5 times as per the instructions, then I made 4 coffees some teas and it works perfectly, heats up faster I find. The kettle switches off after 20 minutes when the activity is complete. This seems so deb***ed up to me though, it's not even possible. It would be enough if the kettle turned off in 5 minutes. And from the el. turning it off all the time, you'd probably be fooled. Then there's the sieve popping out of the teapot. When I wanted to quickly pour the water out of the kettle, the strainer inside for dirt always fell out. So that's why the 4* out of 5*
