A simple device with a given function. Personally, I make do with the first two speeds of the four. So it's powerful enough, but it's also wonderfully quiet. Of course you can hear it, but it's not a noise that scares the kids and the dog. The back of the headboard is straight, so it stands on its back when I need to put it down. My only concern is the ventilation grille right on the front fascia, where the engine can suck in all the dust created by mixing.
