In general, there's not much to fault it for the money. It can be done and the layout is absolutely perfect for such a small package. I dare say it's even better than the original from logitech, which is trying to get around this: D
Surprisingly high quality
Low profile
Handy backlight
The space bar is very poorly balanced, so when I finger stroke with my left thumb, I don't even take the strokes because they are too far from the switch.
Sometimes when using bluetooth it will go from 100% to 0 in about 2 minutes
I've been wanting to change keyboards for a while now after a few years and wanted to switch from a low-profile keyboard to a mechanical one. Since I don't play games, gaming keyboards are a "useless" and so this mechanical keyboard for office use plus CZ/SK localization and WIN/MAC design was a great choice and for the price it's a great entry level for mechanical keyboards. The backlighting is a nice bonus, and when one gets out of the RGB chaos, it can also be a nice ambient addition to the table. Combined with the Eternico M500 mouse, they are a great match in both colour and function, making a great pair for great money, especially now that the keyboard price has dropped below 1000kč during the alza days, which is unbeatable for a wireless mechanical backlit keyboard.
great feel and response when pressing the keys
compact design and interface for both mac and windows
backlight adjustment
design
colour scheme perfectly matches the eternico M500 mouse
the layout may be cramped for some, but that's the price of compactness
the backlight setting is not exactly described in the manual and it took me a while to figure out the option to set only one colour
I was looking for a compact keyboard with CZ localization, good backlighting, wired/2.4GHz connectivity, reasonable noise level and for a fair price. All the keyboard meets. The backlighting is a luxury in the price category - even the CZ keys are backlit (elsewhere there are only unlit stickers) and the settings are rich (many colours and modes). Compact is maybe too much - there are not many gaps between the keys, but I personally don't mind it. The overall workmanship feels good, even the grip is very pleasant and the noise is reasonable - it is audible, but not much more than a classic diaphragm (No one yells at me in the office, so probably good). The connectivity is also good - I have a dongle in my laptop and at work I connect wirelessly and at home I just plug in the cable to my PC and I don't have to reconnect the dongle. And the only thing I can read her for the time I have is the flashlight. with the backlight on, I'd say it won't last more than 20 hours. With heavy use, it's about 2 days. And a couple of times it happened to me that if I don't use it for a while, it "falls asleep" and when it woke up it looked discharged even when it was fully charged, but it was enough to turn it off/on and it would charge. Oh, and there's a flashlight icon on F4. it glows permanently blue when it's charging/plugged in and flashes red when the battery drops to 20-30%. it might annoy some people.
Quality of construction and keys
Very nice grip
Acceptable noise level
In the price category of luxury backlighting
Connectivity - BT/2.4GHz/Wire
Compactness
Very nice battery status indication via FN + Backspace = number series 1-0 glows green according to tens of percentages
For some it may be too compact = shift right above the left arrow, no spaces mefi F1-12 and PGUP etc.
Some may be bothered by the battery indication on the F4 when charging and when low
After some time of inactivity, it can fall asleep hard and sometimes glitches when it wakes up and just needs to be turned off/on
Some people may be bothered by the fact that it has MAC localization
I would have welcomed higher endurance, but it's not a disaster = about 2 days of intensive use with backlight
the WIN/MAC BT/OFF/2.4 switches rattle, so they need to be either removed or lubricated inside with Vaseline, then the keyboard does not make any parasitic sounds
Verified purchase - review from a price comparison website
the keyboard is lightweight, has no unnecessary edges around the edges and therefore foldable
the colour combination of black and grey looks very interesting, enter is big, backspace is big, left shift is short, and next to it is "\|", which suits me, it has Czech/Slovak prints, it looks like it is moulded into the buttons, but the backlighting of secondary characters is weaker, mainly primary characters are backlighted
the backlight has 4 levels of intensity and several homogeneous colors, such as white, red, blue, green, etc. let's say about 6 to 10 colors. The rest of the color options are just different flashing effects for teenagers, but even here you can adjust the intensity and even the speed of the flashing (I don't know why, but ok, it's there)
connectivity is via USB-A dogle very small size, worked immediately, I did not have to deal with anything, then there is the option of 2x bluetooth, it also works ok, paired to 2 devices, then the possibility of connecting via the supplied cable USB-A -> USB-C, when it really goes through the cable: ) In the back of the slide switch for switching these modes, including the Win/Mac slide switch
the press of the keys is sure, slight resistance as with a normal "scissor" keyboard, but the mechanics can be felt, the buttons can be removed, so I swapped "Z for Y", but I preferred to leave the switches alone
The keyboard is slightly loud from my personal point of view, but with a very pleasant mechanical sound. But if I compare it with Logitech MX keys, then it is significantly louder
low profile cap keys - low profile, ideal, short stroke
for about 1300Kč relatively good price
the manual is miniature, but the keyboard setup is intuitive due to clear descriptions
The keyboard came with a "QWERTZ" layout. I immediately switched the Z and Y
From 30% of the battery, the top right key flashes disturbingly red, I'll probably return it because of this, or punch out the led and lose my warranty
doesn't have a sleep button, I'll have to configure shortcuts
With the backlight on, less battery life than I would have expected
