Let's not evaluate the E20 for what it is not. It's not a tactical flashlight and it doesn't have overwhelming power. But it's powered by widely available batteries, it's portable, and it does a perfectly adequate job in or around the home. You simply won't need more light there. The E20 size isn't quite for EDC anymore (like the E12 or E09R, both great), but as a standby flashlight it's perfect.
