He has absolutely lived up to expectations. I was looking for an all-in-one under the TV: streaming endpoint for Roon, high quality DAC with dual AK4499EX, transparent preamplifier.
The headphone amplifier is very decent and power sufficient for most headphones on the market (with the exclusive exceptions that lack more dynamics).
I would prefer to support cooling with ventilation fins on the side rather than vents. They could have made the chassis out of thicker aluminium - compared to the K9 Pro's intellectual predecessor, I find it a bit "cheaper" in terms of robustness.
