A step stool with a seat is great when you're in a hurry. We have removed the bottom bolt from the seat, so when we need to fold the seat, we take the seat down (otherwise it gets in the way). Given the universal use, you can't think of much better, but the Velcro mounting is not entirely convenient.
Otherwise, the footrest does not rattle, it is sufficiently strong, handles unevenness well and is relatively compact.
