The Bluetooth adapter adds a very faint grumbling sound to the transmitted signal, which I guess is due to the ubiquitous 50 Hz mains interference. Other Bluetooth sources that are better shielded can filter this out. Tried and tested. Not the adapter. It is a sound on the borderline of audibility that does not spoil listening to music. However, it bothered me with films that have longer silent pauses.
