I think the basket is made of rather hard and unyielding plastic, which doesn't help the whole thing. In addition, there are sharp edges on the inside of the side frames against the direction of pulling. The bidon is from a different brand, it's possible that the manufacturing tolerances of the dimensions just didn't meet here. Unfortunately, I had to replace it with another basket from another manufacturer with a better shape that is more ergonomic and kinder to plastic bidons. It's true that you definitely won't be able to get the bottle out of this, but on the other hand, forget about drinking and driving.
