First experience with a mechanical keyboard. For a long time I was looking for a simple keyboard with 100% layout - wired, with silent switches, without displays and flashy colors. And I'm glad I didn't step on the wrong foot with the Genesis Thor 404. I immediately swapped the Outemu switches for the Akko Penguin Silent - these have a higher activation force (40cg vs 50cg) and have a subtle tactile response that I like better. But the replacement was quick and painless. It looks great, typing and playing is comfortable and overall for the price it's a great buy. If I had to complain about something, it's the US layout and the one-line Enter, but these are trivialities and again it's a matter of preference.

Really good full-size mechanics. Solid construction, nice RGB, Silent Peach switches are very quiet and smooth(and yes Alza forgot to mention them in the description, they're just people too. ) Plus hot-swap and N-key rollover. Good for both playing and writing. Price/performance ratio
