So we bought this 15 cm ghost lantern for Halloween, but the kids aren't thrilled with it at all and neither am I as a mom with them. It looks a bit spooky in the picture, but in reality the ghost is small, pale, and barely glows at all, so when we lit it up in the evening, we could hardly see that there was anything there. The kids expected it to be at least a nice Halloween light that would brighten up the hallway or garden, but this lantern looked more like a plain paper lantern that we could keep on a shelf at home as a decoration instead of a light. Moreover, it was quite difficult to work with - it creased easily and I had to fix it to make it hold its shape. Summarized: small, dimly lit and more disappointment than joy. When I asked the kids if they at least wanted to have it as a decoration again, one shook her head and the other just said "not that". So, for us, this is not the lantern I would recommend buying for Halloween if you really want the look and the light to be seen.
