It's one of the few books I couldn't finish. After reading one third of it, I lost track of the time period in which the story takes place. But if someone doesn't mind the frequent flashbacks and memories interspersed throughout the plot, then they may like the book.
Lots of pages for little money
Interesting description of special forces training
The plot often goes back to the past, it is sometimes hard to keep track of what time you are in
