The compressor works very well, but I’m having a problem with the instruction manual that came with it (the same issue is in the online manual on the manufacturer’s website).
The instructions emphasise several times that the safety valve should be checked by pulling on the ring, but the compressor does not have a ring on the valve. I wasn’t sure whether it might be a fault with the valve, but after enquiring with Hecht, it turned out that the compressor is fitted with a new type of valve, which really doesn’t have that ring, and they’d somehow forgotten to update the manual.
