As one user has already mentioned here, once the knob has been loosened, the gas is only released by bending that black ‘nozzle’ in the right place. It also regulates the power. It’s a good mechanism, but you might not think of it on your own, and it’s drawn rather oddly in the manual – and to top it all off, it’s in the recycling section (X). So, just to be on the safe side, I’m mentioning it here as a help for others. Otherwise, it’s brilliant – we’ve inflated about 25 balloons without a single one popping, and they’re floating nicely across the ceiling, so it’s working just as it should (X
