Surprisingly, probably my best experience with a laptop so far (I've only had gaming ones before). Everything works without any problems and there are no settings that would change the fan speed, and there's no reason why you'd want to do that anyway, everything works out of the box. The 3-year warranty also provides peace of mind. It's probably the cleanest Windows installation I've ever had. Even the 512GB SSD has enough free space so it's not limiting (you can expect at least half of it to be free). There are also some security features, like opening PDF files in a micro virtual machine. Plus, it's very cheap these days for what you get. Even if I didn't have my desktop, this laptop would probably be enough for me.
No bloat.
Very fast, quiet.
A powerful iGPU capable of playing most video games (with sensible settings).
32gb ram.
Hardware camera cover.
Super build quality (all aluminium).
Even at 100% load, it's quiet and the maximum processor temperature is briefly 85°C (boost), then 70°C. Thanks to the aluminium, the bottom of the laptop also dissipates heat, but it gets to about 45°C under maximum load, which isn't pleasant on your lap. For Office work or browsing the internet, it's fine to have on your lap without any problems.
The notebook can be used for small, local AI models. Of course, its performance doesn't compare to a dedicated graphics card, but it's usable.
The battery can be limited to 80% in the BIOS (otherwise it keeps switching back to 100%). After limiting the battery to 80%, Windows still shows 100% but it really is limited, which I think is great because you don't have to think about it.
The battery lasts a relatively long time, it's not a MacBook Air but definitely better than most gaming laptops. Up to 10h of normal use.
All the ports are fast.
The 16:10 display is much better than 16:9
Virtual RAM turned off to ensure longer SSD lifespan.
The first laptop I've had where Windows Fast Startup works without any problems, at least so far.
The display is worse, but as someone who has a 1440p 180Hz monitor with nice colours at home, it's completely survivable.
Probably the biggest limitation is the 512GB and the absence of another SSD slot, but you can get around that with an external SSD.

The build quality is like a MacBook, 10/10. Really solid, the hinges are great.
The keyboard is very pleasant, definitely one of the better ones for the price.
Very quiet even when rendering in Blender. For school, lectures, etc., it's superb. (It's not for heavy Blender use, but I was testing the fans)
The display is listed as 60Hz, so I thought, 'okay, it's only for when I'm not at my desktop PC, and I'll use it for work, I can live with it'. I couldn't. The response time is truly awful, even for a 60Hz panel. I deliberately got out my old laptop for comparison, which cost 12 thousand around 2016, and it had less input lag than this new HP. HOW? I returned it for that reason.
Great for office work in combination with the hardware and build quality, which is luxurious for the price, I was even surprised, but if you have something to compare it with, you really can't stomach the display.
