I bought the watch on 8 May 2026. I’m generally quite happy with it, apart from three things:
1. Given that this is the Pro version, which is larger, why isn’t there an NFC chip included for making payments with the watch, especially at that price?
2. It’s great that they’ve included a GPS chip, but it’s terribly unreliable; very often it fails to find a signal and tracks without GPS – in almost 50 per cent of tracking sessions – so because of this I have to connect it to my mobile for GPS
3. Whenever you want to use the watch for a hike or any outdoor sport, and you start a run or a walk, it starts to overheat and displays a message saying it will switch off in 5 seconds, cancelling all your recorded progress. This is something that really annoys me about them, and it even happens to me quite often whilst driving – I’m just holding the steering wheel and the watch switches itself off. I’ve never seen a sports watch overheat and have to switch itself off outdoors, especially as they’re designed for sport.
