I bought this stand as my first and, so far, last one, so I can't compare it with others, but compared to mounting a wheel and pedals to a desk, it's night and day, especially for setups with stiffer pedals. I highly recommend it! I find myself racing much more often now, as everything is ready to go instantly. Regarding the stand itself, I'd say it offers fantastic value for money, ideal for people who don't want to immediately invest tens of thousands in a full sim rig, and it's definitely better than basic stands without a chair lock. In terms of ergonomics, it's perfectly adequate for someone taller than 1.8m. The stand has 3 positions for the steering wheel angle, a slider for the pedals, and an ''adjustable'' distance from the chair to the wheel via multiple screw holes in the castor rail. Another plus is the included shifter mount, where you can also squeeze in a handbrake at the same time, although in this combination, the ergonomics start to suffer a bit. The final plus is that it can be folded, but this is also somewhat related to a bigger minus: the stand has more play because of it. To be honest, I haven't noticed it while driving, but it's there. The biggest minus, though this probably applies generally, is the weight. With everything on it (stand, wheel, pedals), it weighs about 25kg, so I recommend storing it somewhere near your PC. The initial assembly got on my nerves a bit, but after an hour and a half, everything was set up, and you don't have to worry about it again, which is great. When I was buying it, I was considering this one and the NEXT LEVEL RACING WHEEL STAND 2.0, and for me, I'd say get this one and use the money you save to upgrade to a direct drive wheel :)
