I've had the mouse for about 2 weeks so far. I put a charged NiMH battery in it right after unpacking and it hasn't run out of power yet and it's been running for several dozen hours (I'm using a 2.4GHz connection and the mouse is set to 1000 DPI and 500 Hz polling rate, backlight on). The mouse is put to sleep after 30 seconds of inactivity (the backlight goes out with it) and as soon as I move it, it wakes up immediately so there is minimal delay. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.
