A little miracle for a nickel. I wouldn't throw away 700, - for other compact frames. According to the tests, there's no difference. I bought this for 150, - and I took the trouble to test it without and with contact frame and temperatures dropped by 5-6 degrees in my setup. Realistically, thanks to this contact frame + NZTX KRAKEN PLUS 360 and the tripple chamber case, the CPU is around 27-30 degrees in idle and 62-66 degrees in max load in absolute silence (without the contact frame it was up to 72c). I'd say this is a must have for rectangular CPUs.

I replaced the heatsink and the original CPU retention frame, so I can't evaluate if the frame replacement dropped the temperature and by how much. But all in all, temperatures have dropped at max. the temperature stays around 76-77°C. CPU1460KF@5,5GHz, idle 27 -38°C depending on ambient temperature.
