without removing the PC board it's impossible, I barely put the backplate on the board into the 4 holes. after the screws that you have to have a special thin attachment to get them over the radiator. and it's all stretched out, so hitting a hole is worse than your first time. I've mounted a few coolers but this was a hell if I didn't need a cooler and I got a box so I'm not going to this one
it does its cooling function just fine for the money
