It's worth every penny! Absolutely perfect for soups, meat, casseroles. There are plenty of recipes on the internet. I cook quite often for a large group (40 people) and the IP saves me a lot of time. It also works well as a rice cooker and can make homemade yogurt. The sous vide function is not great, a sous vide circulator is better for sous vide. Otherwise, totally awesome!
