I tried the navigation briefly. No comfort, but it serves its purpose. Especially in unpopulated areas. For hikers, I recommend the Garmin Explore app with free topographic maps. I compared the sleep measurement with the Mi Band 2, and Garmin's is incomparably better. It may be a little difficult to distinguish between a peaceful lounging in bed and REM or light sleep, but when compared with the graphs of movement, heart rate and stress, you can get a very decent idea of the quality of rest. The stress measurement and Body Battery seemed more like a source of amusement to me at first, but by comparing the reality with the measurement, I came to the conclusion that this is one of the most successful health features of the watch.
I'm sorry that the Garmin Connect app doesn't allow you to view data logs from the watch without an internet connection. Also, the watch won't alert you to calendar events at the set time without a mobile connection. They are just big enough for a guy's wrist, the silicone strap is nice and long enough. I only point out the height of the watch case (17 mm with the heart rate sensor, 14 mm above the wrist surface). They don't have to fit into the narrow sleeves of shirts. You may have to redo your buttons.
Because I wear the watch to work in the factory, I had a protective film professionally applied to the glass. Somehow I forgot that professional doesn't mean proper, it means for money.
