For school, watching videos, reading books and playing mobile games, it's absolutely enough, so there's no point in buying a more expensive air or pro model. If you want to buy an apple pencil for your ipad, make sure it's compatible - only USB-c and 1st generation work with this ipad. I wouldn't consider more memory for a few thousand extra, unless you want to download a bunch of apps. If you need more space for files, the Icloud subscription for 50GB for 25 CZK per month will suffice.
I was worried about the lower refresh rate of the display because I'm used to a higher one from my phone.
So I was deciding whether to buy the Air or the Pro. But I'm glad I only bought this basic version in the end. I only have it for home purposes - watching videos, reading e-books, some game here and there. A better display wouldn't have hurt, of course, but now, after two months of use, I'm glad I didn't spend once as much because of it.
It would be nice if Apple would put it in the base, because it's the base nowadays...
