Ideal for a household with 2 kids and a dog. It can get over lower thresholds (up to 2.5cm according to the manual), but it really struggles with 2.5cm thresholds. This was solved with ramps (they can't be black, as it sees that as a drop and won't go over). You can use the app to schedule a clean for when nobody is at home, and the app shows you how much it has already done. It can also handle carpets (we have low-pile ones), which it notes on the map and then avoids using the mop. The first run is just for mapping; the next proper run looks a bit confused, as it's apparently still mapping the rest of the area and any obstacles, but subsequent runs are much more confident.
It really does mop, on the most intensive setting it managed to mop up older stains (not all of them)
