I've tried plenty of other brands and cheap washing-up liquids, but I always end up obediently coming back to Jar. The various cheap substitutes from discount stores might tempt you at first with their low price per bottle, but in the end, it's a massive con.
Cheap washing-up liquid is usually just thickened water with salt. To get it to foam and clean even a little, you have to pump it onto the sponge two or three more times, so a one-litre bottle disappears before your eyes. The degreasing power is about 200 to 300% worse than Fairy – with a greasier baking tray or pan, you end up using half the bottle and still scrubbing for nothing.
With Jar, literally one drop is enough. It stays on the sponge, the lather doesn't fall apart after three plates and it instantly gets rid of any baked-on grease, even in cooler water. And when you manage to find a good deal or a larger bottle, Jar actually works out cheaper per wash than those cheap imitations. For me, it's the only sensible choice you can rely on.
When you say Fairy in the Czech Republic, everyone knows you're going to wash the dishes 😄
I can' t think of anything at all
It's more expensive without a deal, but let's be honest, it's 2-3 times better than cheap washing-up liquids.
