I bought this grill twice. The first time, I returned it, thinking the thermostat was faulty. When I bought it the second time, the grill had exactly the same, desperately low, power output. You can slowly dry meat on it, and then turn it over by hand. You'll have plenty of time for grilling sausages or vegetables, as burning them is practically impossible. I'm comparing it with an older grill of the same brand with a 2200W output, which was unfortunately the reason for choosing this grill incorrectly.
