Great invention. I don't use it daily, but I still use it often. For stews that last half or all day, for chou - long-cooked rice - and of course for broths. I also tried the so-called. Endless broth, where for weeks I added ingredients and water to and removed broth from a constantly on slow cooker. You can't imagine how strong and fragrant the broth was! I only cancelled because I didn't have enough sales for that amount of broth, because we're not a pub.
Apart from the obvious pros, I want to appreciate the fact that the inner vessel is ceramic, i.e. not Teflon.
Weigh in if you really need a larger version of this slow cooker because the ceramic inner pot is heavy, though I have the smaller one.
